Lehane Technology Ventures Announces Release of Breakthrough PHANTOM Virtual Limb
Cheyenne, WY; June 20, 2029- Today, leading innovation company Lehane Technology Ventures announced the release of its new PHANTOM line of Virtual Limbs, a major breakthrough in providing those impacted by limb loss with not just the physical, but the mental and emotional “cure” for their altered forms.
“Artificial limbs that address the physical needs of those who suffer from the loss or non-existence of a natural limb have been available for decades,” said Robert Lehane. “But now, with PHANTOM technology that can be seamlessly integrated into the body’s neural pathways, and ultimately its neurological system, we can fully address the mental and emotional challenges that many struggle with.”
PHANTOM Virtual Limbs have been in development for over 7 years. A passion project of Robert Lehane, whose father lost his leg in a car accident when Lehane was 17, the project has cost over two billion dollars to develop. PHANTOM Virtual Limbs will connect to a user’s neural pathways, allowing those that utilize them to fully control motions as though the limb was natural and eliminating the “phantom limb” syndrome that many struggle with.
Danny Santos, the famed Filipino basketball player who lost his right leg four years ago, participated in the development of PHANTOM Virtual Limbs and said, “This technology is remarkable. For the first time since my accident, I feel like myself again. I can do everything I was able to do before and I owe that all to Mr. Lehane and his remarkable team.”
PHANTOM Virtual Limbs are being shipped to leading medical centers for arrival next week and virtual training will be provided to all physicians who want to offer the product to their patients.
